Rabbi Kari Tuling has been the spiritual leader of Temple Beth Israel since July 2012. Originally from California, Rabbi Tuling was ordained in 2004 in Cincinnati, Ohio and has served congregations in Indiana and Ohio, and has taught undergraduate courses at the University of Cincinnati for five years. Rabbi Tuling is currently a doctoral candidate and holds two Masters degrees from Hebrew Union College. She lives here in Plattsburgh with her husband and son and two cats.

Temple Governance

Temple Beth Israel is governed by a Board of Trustees which consists of four officers and six trustees. Board meetings, open to all members, are held on the second Wednesday of each month, and the annual congregational meeting is held each May.
