The Temple Sisterhood is responsible for providing social opportunities, as well as contributing to the cultural life of the Temple. Sisterhood welcomes all women of the Jewish community. The Temple is the foundation of Jewish life in Plattsburgh, and Sisterhood is a vital part of the community. The Beth Israel Sisterhood was started in 1914 and has been active continuously and is now a member of the renamed National Women of Reform Judaism.
