This year, our Torah study group will be reading the weekly par'sha (portion) using commentaries from Rabbi Lawrence Kushner and his famous congregant, playwrite David Mamet - from their coauthored book entitled, 'Five Cities of Refuge: Weekly Reflections on Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy.'

ADULT ED. STUDY GROUP

This year, our Adult Ed. Study Group will be exploring the Book of Ecclesiastes (called Kohelet in Hebrew).

"The Book of Ecclesiastes contains some of the most familiar biblical texts, as well as some unfamiliar and even surprising texts. This new translation, commentary, and related gleanings from contemporary sources provide a new way to look at these ancient tests from the wisdom literature and help us find meaning for our lives today"
